
Jhaimy Fernandez, MD is an advocate of digital health equity in her clinic and community. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Biology from UCLA and completed a Riordan Scholars MBA Fellowship program at UCLA's Anderson School of Business. She attended Robert Larner, MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where she collaborated with medical students, engineers, and startups to redesign healthcare utilizing design thinking methodologies. She partnered with the Berkeley Innovation Group to launch social media-based chronic disease self-management case studies. In medical school, she was awarded the Most Promising Family Medicine Doctor award for her innovative application of technology in patient care. Today, she is a PGY2 at Harbor-UCLA Family Medicine Residency Program and Director of Community Engagement & Research at SaludConTech.
